The first thing you need to be able to support music content creators (the stuff you listen to) is a way to pay them. Recommended: Get a Paypal account. Easy easy easy. Enter your credit card number ONCE at Paypal, then never have to enter it anywhere else again. That way it will make it very easy to buy a track or album online when you are so inclined to do so. There are no extra charges at Paypal and the payment (.99/track or less) goes directly on your credit card. (that's right, 99 cents is all it takes to support musicians now and again). You don't have to do anything else.
